Japanese Garden in Portland, OR.
The Japanese Garden is a 5.5 acre formal garden designed by Professor
Takuma Tono in 1963.
An ornamental tree with
over 400 cultivars. Their beauty and variation in form and colors
provide a tree which can fit almost any landscaping need. Japanese
maples are unique. Their variations of color in their leaves beginning
with spring growth, changing in summer, and finishing with a beautiful
burst of fall color, provides a beautiful picture year round. Japanese
Maples are widely used as specimen plants.
